Engagement Director / Wellington
Kath manages relationships and projects for some of DNA’s biggest clients and most significant digital, transformation and CXD challenges. She is a campaigner for user-centred design and has had significant involvement in large scale digital projects at DNA in recent years.
She has more than 10 years of relationship, account and project management experience within the digital environment, she has delivered a range of online projects from large government and corporate websites and intranets to interactive solutions and applications.
Kath is focussed on Public sector clients at DNA, and has driven our work to date in digital, and as it continues through digital transformation and Service Design for a range of public sector organisations.
Her project leadership experience at DNA includes working to deliver projects typically complex and of large scale, content heavy and with millions of users. Kath has been responsible for delivering the new Wellington City Council site, the Destination Wellington portal, All Blacks portal and websites, Ministry of Health internet and intranets, Sport NZ, plus various ACC initiatives, campaigns for NZ Post as well as Treatme, Icebreaker intranet, and many others.
Before joining DNA in 2005, Katherine spent several years as an illustrator and her passion and experience for the design process is evident in the work she delivers.
As an Engagement Director, the need to balance the needs of the clients business, those of their users and the best way for DNA to engage to deliver value are her priorities. She is a versatile thinker and strong manager, with a knack for understanding the challenges client organisations face so that DNA’s teams can set approaches to problem solving and delivery to meet those constraints.
Outside of work Kath is a devoted multisport athlete who is constantly riding, running and kayaking.
Kath is a member of DNA’s Wellington Operational Management Team.
