Senior Production / Print Manager / Wellington
Joanne has more than 25 years experience in the design industry, with over 18 of those years at DNA – initially working on design production and print management, she now also works across digital production, testing and design QA.
She has exacting standards and insists on producing high quality, well designed work. Her eye for detail is a bonus on any project, her obsessive pursuit of quality means our clients and their customers enjoy using great products and experiences – and her compulsive need to have systems and patterns designed to support efficient working underpins how DNA delivers (yes, we just used obsessive and compulsive in the same sentence).
Jo has grown and developed constantly – her capability development is a record of the change DNA has seen – while firmly a creative and design based culture, established as a brand agency, we embraced digital in the mid 90’s and have transformed to be an experience design leader today. The desire to deliver quality and value has never waned, no matter the new skills required to meet the new challenges facing our clients and their customers.
In Brand execution and packaging production Jo has set the standard in work for Steel and Tube, Opus, Trilogy Skincare, Kaitahi, the All Blacks and Goodness. In communication projects, Jo has worked with NZ Fire Service, ACC and the Ministry of Social Development on work to engage with Kiwi’s, change mindsets and inform positive behaviours. In Digital, Jo has delivered projects for Kiwirail, Immigration New Zealand, Mojo Coffee, F&P Appliances and many more.
Outside of DNA, Jo really doesn’t have much of a life – well, thats the line she uses – as we have always asked her to move mountains and perform miracles, often when normal people have left for the day. The reality, is that whānau, a garden that is never finished, a rather eager pooch and a longstanding sideline (parallel career) in jewellery design keep her quiet.
