Managing Director / Wellington
Grenville has worked in the design sector for 25+ years consulting on brand strategy, customer experience design (CXD), brand engagement and design thinking with New Zealand businesses.
Grenville is a strategic and creative thinker, who’s role with DNA teams and many of DNA's clients is to challenge convention, steer conversations and lead problem solving by infusing the voice of the customer and design thinking practices in to all projects. He has been a champion for setting DNA's objective as always meeting the right balance between strategy, business effect and creativity.
Grenville has broad experience of brand application, brand engagement and customer experience across the full spectrum of traditional and new media. With his guidance DNA was one of the first design agencies to move into online/digital development. DNA continues to be an industry leader in this area. With digital came a focus on the user, which has expanded in recent years to embrace full CXD and Service Design within DNA’s practice.
Grenville has worked to deliver value through design for the likes of Telecom, AMP, MSD, NZRU / All Blacks, BNZ, Steel & Tube, Willis bond, ACC and BMW.
As principal, he is part of the DNA Executive management team and provides leadership and management to the business. Grenville plays a hands-on role providing overall high level input to strategic and creative work.
Grenville holds a Diploma in Visual Communication Design from Wellington Polytechnic (now Massey University).
Grenville is a Fellow of the Designers Institute of New Zealand and was awarded the 'Black Pin' for outstanding achievement in 2013.
