Project Manager / Wellington
Rebecca joined DNA having had exposure to a number of interesting projects in product and project development across different industries.
After developing sustainability projects within the public sector, she found herself completing a range of design thinking papers in Sweden, before taking up a support role in delivering Smart Cities technology for Wellington. Not one to miss an opportunity, she jumped at the chance of a stint in Colombia to shape and drive projects looking to use technology to help young Colombians understand finances.
This caused her to develop a passion for users, and so she took up residence in Wellington based start-up, Method, in their product development team working to create products that customers love.
Rebecca was keen to further understand what makes successful problem solving, and as someone who thrives off a challenge, making the leap to project management was a natural next move for Rebecca. Her working style is shaped by her ability to create collaborative relationships and keep an eye on the bigger picture to build rewarding outcomes.
At DNA she is now in an environment to further develop these skills whilst having the opportunity to work alongside experienced tech, UX, design and research teams to deliver large scale experience design projects.
At DNA Rebecca has been working on projects for Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE), InternetNZ and Kiwibank.
Outside of DNA, Rebecca continues to explore that big back yard of ours, New Zealand – and you can often find her out on a roadie, up a mountain or discovering Wellington’s hidden spots.
