Maren Schiebe

Project Manager / Wellington

Maren has more than 12 years of experience in both account service and project management with a broad skills base, specialised in working on integrated campaigns for complex products and services, managing client relationships literally across the globe.

Maren brings real strength in building and maintaining relations with key stakeholders and wider teams, a strategic thinking ability and strong experience in setting up projects to succeed and in leading, integrating and motivating interdisciplinary teams.

With an eye for detail, whilst keeping the bigger picture in mind, her enthusiastic will and curiosity for constantly improving and applying new learnings is an asset on any project.

Maren has worked in large agencies on significant projects – meaning pressure, scale, complex landscapes and challenging environments are things she takes in her stride.

Maren joined DNA after a long stint as Senior Project Manager at Clemenger BBDO in Wellington, where she did great work on key projects for Education New Zealand. This followed a number of years of experience in Europe. She has a PRINCE2® Practitioner and Foundations Certificate in Project Management and has more language than most Kiwis - she is a native German speaker, she’s fluent in English, has a basic knowledge of Spanish and while a beginner in Te Reo, her determination is bound to showing results.

At DNA, Maren has been working on projects for Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE), Earthquake Commission (EQC), Kiwibank and Internet NZ.

Outside DNA, Maren loves Ocean swimming, is active coaching the Wellington Synchronised Swimming team, does a bit of chicken whispering and enjoys veggie-gardening.
