Digital Designer / Wellington
Graham has been in the Design industry – initially as a Graphic Designer – then working across a variety of media since 2006. He was interested in user experience, animation and digital design early on and finally followed his passion to focus solely on Digital in 2013.
A bit of a geek at heart, Graham taught himself CSS and HTML to enable the transition into the digital design space smoother.
Most of Graham's full time experience has been in specialist advertising agencies and digital production design businesses. This has been experience gained far and wide – he has worked in England, Australia and all throughout New Zealand including Auckland, Queenstown, New Plymouth and Wellington. In that time, Graham has worked at DDB, JWT and Young and Shand, working on big brands such as Coca Cola, McDonalds, Ford, Fonterra, Sky, 2degrees, Spark, Meridian, Mac's, Speights and Icebreaker.
Graham's digital experience ranges from responsive websites to mobile apps, interactive experiences in museums and touch screen games at global events.
He brings an affinity for storytelling, a desire to design amazing experiences and the resilience to stay on top of large and complex project challenges.
At DNA, Graham's current key projects include extension of the digital experience for WellingtonNZ and the re-design of digital experiences for Kiwibank.
Outside of work Graham is trying to recreate the Wellington hipster lifestyle in Palmerston North.
