Following the delivery of New Zealand Post's public website DNA was engaged to deliver a new design for their intranet site. The New Zealand Post Intranet is very large and used by thousands of staff each month, but had been a huge and fragmented series of pages, brands and applications that were hard to use and navigate.
The re-alignment of the Post Group allowed for a re-design of the intranet, which needed to embody shared values and allow broader access so the different group companies could work more closely with each other. This meant that common design and user experience (across different technical platforms) would be needed to unify the experience and allow visibility to all content and also ‘Post Group’ content. The key for this project was to deliver New Zealand Post robust templates which would withstand the various content demands that would be placed on them – and as such the new design needed to be flexible and easy to manage and be more useful and intuitive to use.
