
ACC branches throughout New Zealand deal with a huge number of claims every day, and these claims need to be tracked regularly and communicated back to staff. DNA developed a Claims Dashboard - one of a series of three dashboards launched in 2008 to help ACC measure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The dashboards show performance measures of branches on an individual basis, regionally as well as nationally. Users can filter the data, see changes from previous reports and compare with results from the previous year. The data comes from ACC’s data warehouse via an XML file and key KPIs are visualised for staff to see where they are against their targets. This information provides a summary of the national targets reached for a particular time period as well as the individual branch success for the period measured. The dashboards have been a huge success - enabling current information to be available in a simple, clear format, at any time, to anyone within ACC.
