Digital Design Director / Wellington
Stacey has been designing great online experiences for over 15 years and has worked in New Zealand, Canada and the UK. At DNA, she leads the digital design team in Wellington, where she has evolved our working practice to be more collaborative and flexible, putting users at the heart of the process and enabling our clients to be heavily involved in the design phase of any project.
DNA’s team work on large scale, technically complex content heavy sites and web applications - our projects require strong vision, disciplined leadership, innovative solutions and require outstanding interaction and user experience to be effective.
Stacey has led teams on projects for ACC, Ministry of Business & Innovation, WCC, BNZ, Ministry of Health and WREDA. Recent work includes: Immigration New Zealand, Our 10 Year Plan, Tenancy Services and Team All Blacks.
Stacey’s strengths lie in user empathy, translating user insight in to action, iterative and inclusive design development, overseeing the execution of design through to delivery of the solution and working closely with the development team to ensure accurate implementation. A digital native, Stacey has led much of our work as we have embraced responsive design and content intensive site requirements.
She has also worked to build up the DNA teams' skills in presentation, content and interaction with both users and business audiences. Stacey has developed our approaches to Digital brand and UX guidelines and frameworks.
