Grenville Main - Creative and Managing Director

Grenville Main.

Gren offers over 20 years experience working to differentiate and grow some of New Zealand's most well known companies and brands. He has created and delivered experiences for brands as diverse as NZRU/All Blacks to the Ministry of Social Development. As Creative Director with DNA Gren plays a hands-on role, overseeing strategy and the development of all creative work. As such he has in depth knowledge of most of DNA's clients (and the business sectors they operate in) with particular expertise in social marketing and brand strategy.

Noel Brown - CEO/Business Strategist

Noel Brown.

In 1983 Noel was one of four people who purchased Formway Furniture and went on to transform it into Australasia's leading commercial furniture brand (turning over $40+ million). Noel managed the high-tech manufacturing plant and R&D. He also drove Formway's international marketing strategy (working with DNA), successfully moving into the US and European markets. Noel joined DNA in 1999 and has provided strategic leadership through a period of rapid growth. Fluent in Te Reo, he also offers stakeholder facilitation expertise and helped run hui on the Taranaki, Maui and Hui Taumata projects. Noel also led the consultation process on the Hokotehi Moriori Trust project.

Stephen Maskell - Design Director (Auckland)

Stephen Maskell.

Stephen joined DNA after working in Europe with leading brand agencies FutureBrand and Enterprise IG. He's worked on high profile brand projects for Vodafone, American Express, BP, Den Norske Bank, Wallenius Wilhelmsen, Reliance Energy (India). Since joining DNA Stephen has led the Auckland agency's brand design work on and off-line with clients including BNZ, Yellow Pages, Bridgestone, Firestone, Cavalier Bremworth, GlobalPlus, Gen-i, Xtra and Telecom.

Charlie Ward - Design Director

Charlie Ward.

Charlie is an international award winning print and interactive designer with 20 years experience, both in the UK and New Zealand. With DNA for over eight years, he has worked for clients including Telecom, Ice Breaker, St John, Child Youth & Family, Hokotehi Moriori Trust, NZRU/All Blacks and the Ministry of Social Development.

Sherryn Macdonald - Research Strategist

Sherryn MacDonald.

With nine years working in crisis psychiatry in the UK, three years in strategic research and a master's degree in environmental psychology, Sherryn helps keep the strategic part of the branding process true to the consumer. She has identified customer truths for clients including BNZ, Firestone, Trilogy Skincare, Telecom, Vodafone, Ford and the Ministry of Social Development.

Martin Grant - Strategy Director

Martin Grant.

Martin has over 20 years brand and advertising experience with a background in strategic planning and consulting. He has held senior positions with Saatchi & Saatchi (New Zealand and New York), Goldsack Harris and Young & Rubicam. He has consulted through Retail BrandFutures before joining DNA. Clients have included BNZ, Cavalier Bremworth, Te Papa, DTR, Warehouse Stationery, Harvey Furnishings, Briscoes, Living & Giving, Urban Loft, Farmlands, PGG Wrightsons and Katmandu.
