The Challenge

To take a brand and digital offer to market in under 6 weeks for a new group buying site. Group buying is a concept that is springing up everywhere and growing in popularity with businesses and consumers alike. When Trade Me wanted to enter the fray and launch their take on group buying in New Zealand, they asked DNA to deliver naming, brand development, interaction and the website interface design – fast. Oh, and get people to sign up then and there.

A year later we were tasked with launching and demo's for Treat Me Now, a classic SoloMo offer - users get to see a huge range of deals around them that are happening right now, while they are out and on the go.

The Solution

DNA designed and produced the suite of ‘How it works’ demo's which infused brand spirit and attitude, and yet explained in fast easy terms how the concept works. After launching TreatMe early last year - the TradeMe crew have since launched 'TreatMe Now', their mobile offering.

For TreatMe Now we extended the Kiwi aesthetic and evolved the brand with the treatMe Now demo. As their launch pitch "Watch out New Zealand, we're launching TreatMe Now, your magic 8 ball that will answer all your questions about what to do or buy; guiding you to the best deal in your area – whenever you need it".

The leading brand in the online auction sector takes to the group buying market and makes an immediate impression.
