The Challenge
We recently worked with Fisher & Paykel Healthcare management, marketing and HR to deliver a new Career hub website. Through designing, manufacturing and marketing a range of innovative healthcare devices and systems for use in respiratory care, acute care, and the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea; F&P Healthcare has a global reach with manufacturing sites in New Zealand and Mexico, and sales & marketing operations in thirty countries. Their products are sold in over 120 countries - and nowadays the global search for top talent means they need to be in many more. The challenge was to create a site that would showcase Fisher & Paykel Healthcare as a fantastic place to work, while at the same time appealing to the market for the skill sets they needed - and on top of this appeal to the kind of people that would fit their culture.
The Solution
Meeting staff and interviewing potential employees gave us strong cues to the true needs for the site content and experience. It also gave us invaluable insight in to the unique ethos and culture the company enjoys. The final site combines full-screen photography, videos, and a range of other supporting elements (such as a photo gallery) to create an engaging experience that reflects the Fisher & Paykel Healthcare brand, articulates their unique culture, brings to life the environments and vision of the company and gives site visitors a real insight into what it's like to work there. F&P Healthcare have a website solution that gives them much more control over the graphic, image and text based information on their site. Additionally, the site is search engine friendly, able to be found easily by international viewers, and able to integrate well with the SnapHire job application management system.
The Result
Fisher & Paykel Healthcare love their new site and it has already received a lot of positive feedback from potential candidates and other visitors. The site is strong visually, and makes the people, place and experience as an employee tangible. Dynamic content, galleries of imagery and many interviews and profiles, stories and video of employees and different roles bring the design culture and point of difference of Fisher & Paykel to life. The website now delivers an engaging experience that reflects the Fisher & Paykel Healthcare brand, and gives visitors a real insight into the company, its people and culture.
