The Challenge
Well established architecture practise CCM (initially founded as Craig Craig Moller) came to Charlie Ward of DNA to design a digital experience for the firm that was complimentary to the recent brand and identity development delivered by DNA. The challenge for DNA was to work with the new generation of directors at CCM in Wellington and redefine a site experience and present their large portfolio, also to articulate on their brand in a way that explained their future focus, spoke to the firm's vision and philosophy but also made accessible their people and their work.
The Solution
The solution is a fresh and vibrant experience for users - the use of strong images of people and projects married with clear articulation of philosophy and values keeps the site focussed and yet highly visual. Three core themes drove the creative execution of the brand and the site – clarity, contribution and experience – these values are about the sense of place and use of space in CCM’s work, and above all embody the notion that developments and environments are built for people, and built to endure.
Alongside collateral and communication, the site comes with a self-expression that conveys the firms values and approach to life and work and immerses the user in the firms portfolio, approach and philosophy. Strong imagery and iconry defines the brand articulation.
The Result
CCM are recognised as one of New Zealand's leading architecture practices and now works with clients and has a vibrant portfolio across many categories, from infrastructure, health, airports, commercial and residential - their people and projects are all clearly accessible through the new site.
