The Challenge
ARA is the largest single estate vineyard in New Zealand and they produce a wine that is unique to the Marlborough region. Their distinctive wine making approach, mixing old world and new world techniques, ensures that the wines they produce are like no other.
ARA required a brand platform to mirror this unique proposition. Armed with an existing logo and distinctive packaging, their challenge to us was to create a consistent and meaningful brand presence across all touch points. To achieve this they wanted a design system, a suite of collateral and website that could tell the ARA story that would allow them to engage with international markets.
The Solution
The result is a bold design system – applied to a large family of collateral items and website – that work to give consumers a unique insight into the range of ARA wines and their unique provenance.
While the design system stands out it also truly represents the ARA brand positioning – one place, pure enjoyment – and delivers a new brand platform that will enable the client to communicate more effectively and with flexibility, reach consumers in many different ways and make use of their customers own social networks.
