DNA on the panel

On 13 September 2012, Hon Chris Tremain, Minister of Internal Affairs, announced a cross-government approach to procuring web services. The Department of Internal Affairs has lead this initiative, in conjunction with a range of other Government agencies.
The Minister commented “this initiative demonstrates the Government’s commitment to helping citizens and businesses engage with government more easily in a digital environment.”
The Common Web Services panel benefits both agencies (our clients in Government and the broader public sector) and web service providers. Agencies will no longer have to tender for outsourced online projects, saving time and money and allowing staff to focus on their core function of providing government information online. Suppliers (that's us) will also benefit, saving time and money preparing tender documents.
This is a great development, as we will now be able to focus on our core business of providing excellent services to government agencies, and in delivering better experiences in digital to their clients and customers. We will draw on our 15+ years experience in digital and our expertise in design research, developing persona's and scenarios, analytics, interaction design, content, usability, responsive site solutions and mobile.
We have been successful in making the panel across 4 core categories and our services will include:
> Information architecture + interaction design
> Usability + Design research
> Visual design + Interface design
> Front end development + Apps
Our extensive work in channel optimisation, digital strategy and integrated/social marketing campaigns as well as service design, experience mapping, requirements and development – plus e-Govt and accessibility have realised some great and highly effective digital solutions.
Select case examples of recent work include; ACC's web portal, ACC's Activesmart web app, a suite of templated sites for Minstry of Health, NZ Post website and mobile app, the Learning Media website, the Royal NZ Foundation of the Blind's award winning site, Pharmac's Space to Breathe campaign site, NZTA's intranet and NZTA's Bikewise campaign site.
